October 2016: We are pleased to announce we are working on an all new, more user friendly website which we hope to launch sometime in November.

I am involved with the Public Catalogue Foundation Art Detective project, which was launched in April 2014. Please see the link below:

It is pleasing to advise that the Art Detective project has just won the ‘Best Museum Professional’ and the overall  ‘Best of the Web’ awards at the prestigious international 2015 Museums and the Web conference (April 2015).

In addition to Art Detective, the BBC Your Paintings website is well worth exploring and may be found at:

Anyone interested in paintings, especially British art, should bookmark the page as the site is both hugely informative and a visual delight. Even better why not visit our public galleries and other collections such as The National Trust and look at the art first hand? The PCF site gives all the details.
